Peduli Yogyakarta
Our deepest concern and hope to those coping with the aftermath of Yogyakarta earthquake
Dear all,
No words can describe what did happen in Yogyakarta, one of the foremost cultural centers of Java. With the existing of kraton (the sultan’s palace) and Borobudur temple, Yogyakarta is a city with outstanding history.
The beautiful natural panorama of Yogyakarta, the beaches in the southern part and the famous most active volcano in the world in the northern part, Merapi volcano, which is in the highest level at the moment….
along with the earthquake in May 27th, 2006…
With our help and contributions, hopefully, the reconstruction of Yogyakarta will finish soon… and the city back in ordinary life. Wishing someday we can visit the city and go around by bike, pedicab, or horse cart; and finding once again the sincere smiles and warm greeting in every city corners.
Best regards,
